Commercial Segment Director

This position will act as the primary Product Management liaison between the growing Commercial market segment \\(i\\.e\\. PBM, Payor, Retail Pharmacy, Pharma Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Consultants\\) and the Product Strategy, Management and Marketing teams\\. The position involves both strategic and operational thinking to ensure that the right products and solutions are being prioritized, developed and delivered to meet the needs of the market segment\\.
In partnership with Commercial Segment team, develop data\\-driven \\(e\\.g\\. market analysis, customer problems/needs analysis, competitive analysis\\) product prioritization and strategy recommendations to achieve business objectives\\.
Understand the key macro and micro trends impacting the commercial market segment
Determine customer pain points and collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to define new features for existing products and/or develop new solutions and service offerings\\.
Develop business cases in conjunction with the Commercial market team for evaluating new product idea and solutions\\.
Collaborate with business development functions to prioritize strategic partnerships\\.
Work collaboratively with the innovation team to provide input into H3 i\\.e\\., transformational new product ideas for the commercial segment and bring early concepts and prototypes to customers for validation\\.
Provide thought leadership to the customers in the commercial segment on the Clinical Effectiveness vision and mission\\.
Monitor and understand the regulatory issues that impact buying and risk mitigation behavior among the commercial customers\\.
Understand emerging standards for sharing of clinical data \\(I\\.e FHIR, CCDA, BPA etc\\.\\) and recommend CE solutions to align with these standards\\.
Lead the prioritization and execution of product investment opportunities for the Commercial segment\\.
In partnership with the Commercial Segment team, identify customer insights and problems, evaluate new customer ideas, and collaborate to address these opportunities\\.
Inform and impact the Commercial Market product and innovation roadmaps through consistent and ongoing engagement with customers, Commercial Segment team, and other internal stakeholders\\. Ensure focus on product value proposition is maintained as part of the roadmap exercise\\.
**Qualifications:** Education
MBA highly preferred\\. BS or BA degree or equivalent is required preferably in Business, Data sciences or Healthcare\\.
3\\+ years of experience serving in a strategic Product Management, Product Marketing or Consulting role in a B2B SaaS environment
Proven track record of bringing new products and solutions to market
Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend, and position products to optimize revenue potential
Experience with business case development
Excellent research analysis and decision\\-making skills
Excellent ability to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available data\\.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Experience in the healthcare technology industry preferred
Experience with PBMs, health insurers, pharmacy retailers, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers preferred
Experience in Agile Product Development & Pragmatic Marketing preferred
Experience in Design Thinking
Strong intellect and analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Up to 35% Travel
