Job Description Truckee Meadows Community College is recruiting for a Custodial Worker 1 in the Facilities Department. Under general supervision, incumbents in addition to performing the full range of duties described in the Custodial Worker series concept, must prioritize work flow and must be trainable in regards to learning and performing of custodial duties using our prescribed cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment to ensure that we maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all of our students, staff and guest. The incumbent must be able to adjust and adapt to the constant demands that comes with this position as an essential employee of the TMCC Facilities Operations and Capital Planning department. Required Qualifications Graduation from high school or equivalent education and six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment. Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances. Schedule The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This is subject to change based on organizational needs.
