Requisition Number 17-1375 Title Experienced Tax Associate City Reno State NV Description CliftonLarsonAllen is hiring for a Experienced Tax Associate in our Reno, Nevada office. As an Experienced Tax Assocaite with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP you will be required to provide tax services to clients such as working tax engagements, performing a variety of tax assignments on time and within budget, identifying and researching issues, and communicating progress to clients. Work Activities & Accountabilities The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned. Service Specialization: Clients may be in any industry with a need for a technical expert, or may be industry focused. S/he focuses on development within a particular service while gaining knowledge on the full suite of service capabilities CLA can provide. Tax: Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and other types of returns as well as perform limited tax research with guidance. Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance. Completes tax related research and special projects as needed. Interfaces with client personnel to review and apply accounting and tax principles. Technical Competencies: General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, financial markets, analysis and reporting of financial data. Understand internal software systems including Pfx Fixed Assets, GoFileRoom, Pfx Engagement, Pfx Tax, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products Requirements Minimum Required Experience, Education, and Certifications Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate with an exposure to financial statement preparation and tax preparation. Education: Bachelora€ (TM) s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certifications/Licenses: Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
