Job DescriptionAdams and Associates, a 100% employee owned company, is seeing a dynamic Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum 3 years of experience to join our team. Working knowledge of financial modeling, auditing, and Federal Government contract environment is preferred. Successful candidates should possess the potential for managing a team, project management, and have organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively, plan, implement, prioritize and coordinate collaborative efforts at all levels internally and externally. The position may require some business travel. Relocation available.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides corporate accounting support and management within a dynamic Company spanning 3 corporate offices and Job Corps Centers across the country. Provide support in financial modeling and implementation of systems, procedures, and processes.Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the daily Reno Corporate accounting activities, including tax filing, censuses filing, accounting, payroll, and banking systems maintenance, quarter and year-end processing, third party reporting, and other duties as assigned. Perform support and backup functions for the VP of Accounting and Finance, to include: Prepare/proof consolidated financials; Reconcile Center financials; Reconcile Corporate budgets and accounts; Assist with completion of perpetual and requested ad hoc reports for Company and Center Management. Assist with the development and implementation of customized computer products to improve Finance processes and outputPrimary Tasks: Expense budgets and accounting analyses. Coordinate daily management of budget and Reno Finance and Accounting staff as it relates to duties. Supervise Reno Corporate Accounting staff as it relates to duties. Provide assistance for effective determination and implementation of accounting software, including development of desk guides and other training tools for users. Develop, refine and direct use of accounting systems and internal controls for those systems.
